Education:MD or DO
Training: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and/or AOA-approved fellowship training in cardiology, followed by an ACGME-accredited and/or AOA-approved fellowship training program in interventional cardiology.
Certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and, within five years of completion of an approved fellowship in interventional cardiology, certification in interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine or a certificate of added qualifications (CAQ) in interventional cardiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
