The Senior Analyst, Data Strategies role will ensure system and reporting development per each Business Unit (BU) while ensuring clear line of sight per system application and overall strategic deployment.

You will work closely with existing data management teams to ensure alignment, harmonization, best practices. You will focus on data integrity, establishment of aligned standards, and work on identifying data gaps. Per gaps, will then align on harmonized approach to address across multiple BU's to ensure common approach.



Responsibilities

  • Strong partnering with IT to ensure system integration and approach data loads, governance, and logic. Will develop and install appropriate levels of controls per interim data loads and also focus on long term systems

  • Each analyst will focus on specific issues / data challenges unique to each BU while ensuring appropriate steps to drive harmonization (i.e. DPS Spine Back to Basics 2 ordering systems)

  • Will also include additional data loads 3rd party information & non-core taxonomy subject areas.

  • Active involvement with key stakeholders such as JnJ MDM/HCS around data management and alignment on customer definitions: UCN, INDV, and legacy information and will provide support to drive towards common levels of data definitions.

  • Strong collaboration with Data Integrity Manager and IT product owner to ensure comprehensive and aligned approach to IT roadmap per additional systems (i.e. CRM).

  • Focus will also be on deployment changes as it impacts analytical reporting.



Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or MS is preferred.

  • A focused degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, IT or Business-related field is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years' work experience is required.

  • Experience in medical device, or healthcare related field is preferred.

  • Strong Data Management experience is required.

  • Experience with Database structures (i.e. Oracle, SQLSERVER, etc.) and Interface technologies (i.e. Informatica, WebMethods, etc.) is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in query and report writing tools and data access methods (i.e. Microsoft Access, Cognos Impromptu, SQL, Focus) is required

  • Advanced EXCEL, PowerPoint and data management skills are required.

  • Knowledge of analytical tools (i.e. TABLEAU, SPOTFIRE, COGNOS, Minitab, SPSS or SAS) is required.

  • Experience managing projects is required.

  • Experience partnering with Field Sales, Information Management/Information Technology, or marketing organization is preferred

  • TESTING



    Experience is preferred

  • Strong analytical experience, business acumen and technical skills are required

  • This position may require up to 25% domestic travel with some overnights and weekends.
