Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*
*Positions with an 'FTE' (full time equivalency) of .875 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an 'FTE' of .5 - .874 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*
Shift: 4 (Mix of AM and PM shifts and weekend rotations.)
Following established policies and procedures, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assists with streamlining patient transitions of care by conducting medication admission histories, insurance benefit investigation, prior authorization approval, and supporting the coordination of medication access at the time of discharge. Participates in training new staff. Other duties as assigned. (u-s)
Two years of work experience in an outpatient/community pharmacy practice is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareer Association (ExCPT) is required within the first 180 days of hire.
