This candidate will be responsible for performing tests on heat-treated automobile parts. They will be going back and forth between the production floor and the lab several different times a shift. A majority of the tests will be performed on a RC hardness tester. Outside of testing, the candidate will be required to review paperwork and verify quality information in order for testing to be completed and documented. This candidate will also be required to prepare all parts and equipment to perform the necessary testing.
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm
-High School Diploma or GED
-Basic understanding of metallurgy, heat treating, or inspection
-1+ years of lab experience
-Ability to read blueprints
-Experience with a RC Hardeness tester
-Basic math skills
