Callos Resource is looking to hire an entry level Manufacturing Lab Technician position with one of the biggest, well-known biotechnology companies in the world. This position is located in Frederick, MD. Starting pay rate of $16.50/hr for 2nd shift with OT available. Second shift is Monday - Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm. Temporary to permanent hire with strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the desire to grow within the role and industry.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Batch record completion

  • Maintaining accurate inventory of products and inventory records using the Materials Resource Planning tools (i.e. issuing materials to work orders, completing products to inventory, kitting, closing, transfers, returns, expensing of raw materials, WIP and finished product).

  • Completing production and quality analysis of reagents, components and finished products in accordance with the Production Schedule

  • Communicate manufacturing problems to Manufacturing management and the team and assist in identifying variables and offering resolutions

  • Keep Manufacturing Supervisors and team members informed on the status of assigned production processes

Job requirements include:

  • Prior working or educational experience in an ISO certified lab and strong attention to safety procedures

  • A desire to work in a manufacturing lab environment where you deal with semi-finished and finished products- Previous experience with formulation of Bulk Reagents.

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet manufacturing deadlines

  • Strong pipette skills, knowledge of GMP and GDP, and a strong attention to detail

  • Be comfortable being cross-trained in different departments and various temperatures.

  • Ability to work with different laboratory equipment and work effectively within a team and individually.
