The Research Scientist will work in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of the School of Pharmacy, and will assist with the daily operations of the cGMP facility. Daily tasks include: setting-up tableting and capsule machines; Performing analytic testing; completing forms and attending training. Independently interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates research assignments and projects. The incumbent formulates and conducts research on unique, cutting edge, and complex topics. The incumbent explores subject area with the aim of defining the scope, method of execution, and method of measurement to determine and analyze project success/outcome. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
PhD plus 4 years related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

* Ability to effectively interact with diverse groups of students, faculty and staff.

This is a grant funded position.
