This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer with 10+ years of directly related experience. The Senior FPGA Engineer will be repsonsible for working with a team of engineers to design, prototype, test, and integrate electronic warfare solutions with a focus on advanced signal decoding and generation. This individual will leader and direct junior level engineers. Responsibilities will include:
• Defining necessary architectures
• Supporting hardware and software development and integration into a larger electronic warfare platform
• Performing preliminary and critical design, integration, and testing of complex hardware and software designs
• Generating necessary requirements and system description documentation The candidate must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a secret security clearance. [*MON *CB] MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or relevant technical field and 10 years of experience
• Experience with FPGA implementations utilizing VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog is required
• Minimum of 3 years of digital signal processing experience
• Experience selecting and programming DSP hardware
• Periodic travel to test locations will be required. Travel estimated to be 10% or less
• Hold an active or be immediately eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with XILINX as a development platform
• Experience with analog to digital and digital to analog converters (ADCs and DACs)
• Experience with input/output interfaces to read and control external devices
• Experience with digital filters, digital downconverters, and correlation filters
• Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) and complex signals
• Experience with RF Engineering
• Experience with schematic capture/PCB layout
• Experience with displaying analyzed data and writing user interfaces
