Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) with recent Blood Bank and Hematology experience for our Laboratory Department located at Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL.  This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible.  Hours will be scheduled on the second shift with rotating weekends.
In this role, you will:
  • Ensure proper identification of the sample throughout the entire testing procedure
  • Rotate through a minimum of three (3) Lab testing areas, performing Laboratory analysis and procedures efficiently, accurately and within allocated time constraints
  • Monitor test analyses to ensure acceptable levels of analytical performance are maintained
  • Enter results in the Laboratory Information System
  • Perform and document routine instrument maintenance and calibrations; troubleshoot instrument problems
