EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Must have at least 3-5 years working experience as a production operator, having worked in at least 5-7 different production cells over the course of their 3-5 year working experience. - High School education or GED equivalent - Ability to work with all associates in the plant - Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously - Must be computer literate - Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) - Must be able to use a hand calculator and understand decimals - Must have good eyesight, and hand eye coordination - Must be able to reason, understand, carryout daily tasks and functions prescribed by supervisor and work procedures assigned either individually or in cell/team environment. - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and all written work procedures, guidelines. Must be capable of reading and interpreting customer specifications and general instructions from engineering and/or manufacturing personnel. - Must be able to perform any and all other duties of the job as assigned. Job Description:
The Cell associate will perform multiple tasks simultaneously within a workcell. This position requires the associate to setup and run multiple pieces of equipment and or process steps at the same time, multitasking between process steps and equipment. This position is generally contained within a work cell and requires an associate to stand and move about within a cell throughout the work hours. 1st 7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. $11.25 2nd Shift 3:15 p.m.- 11:45 a.m. $11.55 3rd Shift (Times TBD) $12.10 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned. The Cell Operator shall be responsible for the following: 1. Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Housekeeping standards and metrics. 2. Perform setup of equipment, autowinders, meters, thermal shock etc. and all other process equipment used in operations 3. Meeting of daily throughput requirements 4. Standard work sequences associated with cellular manufacturing within the associate assigned work area(s). 5. Performs multiple tasks simultaneously within a workcell. 6. Setup and run multiple pieces of equipment and/or process steps such as but not limited to: Autowinding, Lead Straightening, Molding, Cut & Fold, Loading, Deflashing, Printing/Laser, Testing, Soldering, Cleaning, Coating/Varnishing, Visual inspection, and Packaging. 7. Adherence to company policies and standard work procedures and sequences within the associates assigned area of work
