This position is responsible for developing and introducing
leading-edge techniques and assays and ensuring they are expeditiously and
effectively utilized. As Principal
Investigator, incumbent will fill the role of Technical Leader, and be
responsible for completing portions of, or complete, projects, and providing
quality and timely results.
▪ May be Principal
Investigator and/or Study Director for one or more phases of studies (formulation,
in-life, analysis) and assist in other phases.
▪ When assigned as
Principal Investigator or Study Director, work with sponsor and internal
resources to plan, design, and coordinate conduct of studies.
▪ Communicate project
timelines, status, data, reports, and inquiries to client and/or study sites,
effectively addressing any issues that may arise.
▪ Lead team in method
development and validation.

▪ Develop, validate
and run sensitive, reliable and efficient LC/MS/MS assays for TK/PK assessment.

Work Environment - This job operates in a professional laboratory
environment, where exposure to hazardous materials/chemicals, extreme cold
(freezers), and conditions is probable.
Laboratory instruments/equipment used may
include: LC/MS/MS, Pipettors, Tomtec
This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax
machines. Computers run on a Windows
based operating system and proficiency with MS Office products, including
Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is required.

Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of
those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential
functions of this job.
This role is primarily non-sedentary
(employee required to stand/walk more than 50% of the day), and the employee is
occasionally required to traverse to other floors, offices, or sites to
interact with colleagues or visitors, as well as to bend, stoop or reach to
access filing and storage cabinets.
Essential functions involve repetitive motion (hands/fingers) and the
rapid/accurate manipulation of small objects with the fingers.
