The Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Program is the Navy's Flagship Signal's Intelligence (SIGINT) system; installed on U.S. Navy ships, Coast Guard platforms, and Foreign Navy's and shore sites. SPAWAR Atlantic is the In-Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) responsible for lifecycle support, from development through transition. This support includes; but is not limited to; engineering, requirements analysis, testing, technical writing, fleet technical support, training, procurement, configuration management, production, warehousing, drafting and repair. This support, ultimately, is designed to ensure the deployed SSEE systems and Navy operators are positioned for success against our Nation's adversaries.
• Provide system level operations, training and technical support to the US Navy's SSEE programs
• Candidates will be expected to:
• Perform basic system troubleshooting, software configuration support, and recommend resolutions
• Provide Waterfront Support
• Perform system level software testing to accurately validate operational readiness; perform documentation reviews for technical accuracy
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise recommendations on training requirements
• Update training documentation
• Provide inputs for US Navy operational support
• Provide formal shipboard training to US Navy Operators

• Minimum of 4 years' Navy Shipboard Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) system operation experience is required
Shipboard systems may include but are not limited to:
• Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Increment E/F; Cooperative Outboard Logistics Upgrade (COBLU), COMBAT Direction Finding (CDF); Classic Troll
• Integrated Submarine Communications Receiving System (ISCRS)
• Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP) systems including
• Advanced Cryptologic Carry-On Exploitation Equipment (ACCES); Hostile Forces Integrated Targeting Service (HITS), STINGRAY, DRT, BLUESTREAM, etc.
• Candidates must be familiar with basic Signal Analysis Tools, such as Flashlight, Signal Analysis Tools (SAT), WVT, and DVT; basic Signal Description Files (SDF) development and testing; Radio Frequency (RF) theory and optimization; and Direction Finding (DF) concepts and theory
• Candidates are expected to possess excellent oral and written communication skills and in the event prior documented experience is not present
• Candidates possessing a strong operational background, familiarity with shipboard operations and missions, low-level signal analysis experience, and the ability to work independently while organizing and managing shipboard support schedules
• Signal Analysis Training, NAVEDTRA Course Instruction
• U.S. Navy SSEE Inc E or SSEE Inc F NEC are preferred but not required if the candidate has relevant/documented OJT experience
